New Library Catalog

Memorial Day Weekend

What’s new?

All Central and Western items are in ONE catalog! Patrons won’t have to change catalogs to request an item from the alternate region.

Navigating your Patron LOGIN is more intuitive. Your “dashboard” will guide you to options like Account Summary, Items Checked Out, Holds, Account Preferences, and Lists!

With Lists you can create and share categorized lists of your reading materials!

Lists can be broadcast over the new RSS feed! Fumbling for titles and wasting time at Book Club is a thing of the past! Members can share and respond to each other’s choices and recommendations as they are shared!

A few things before we change over . . .

From May 25 to May 28, you will not have access to your C/WMARS Patron Account.

On May 29 your password will be reset to your last name.

Your reading history and wishlists will not be carried over through the migration. If this information is important to you, remember to save it prior to May 25.

Learn to sew and help Storrs Library at the same time!  We have become a Bagshare location and are hosting a Sew-In!  Storrs Library would like to supply tote bags to borrow with your borrowed books. You can help by signing up to attend our Sew-In on Saturday, April 28th, from 1-4.  We will teach you how to sew these simple bags out of reused fabric.  Also, if you have old drapes, tablecloths, or extra pieces of fabric at least 1 yard long, we could use that also.  Register in advance by calling 565-4182.
